In a standard game of blackjack, the deck has a fixed number of cards. Every card dealt changes what remains, and what remains changes the odds of what comes next. A card counter isn't guessing the next card - they're tracking a system with rules, reading it to understand and anticipate what's likely to come next.

Markets leave information behind too. A single candle, liquidity sweep, displacement, or retracement doesn't tell the whole story on its own.
